The Loser

When he got out of bed the morning cried,

every time his body moved his bones sighed.

Every time he sat down the chairs moaned,

when he walked across the floor the floorboards groaned.

When he tried to eat his stomach grumbled,

every time he ran he always stumbled.

Whenever he spoke he lost his breath,

while climbing the stairs he fell to his death.

At his funeral they dropped his coffin

and someone sneaked a laugh.

Then lightening struck his gravestone

and destroyed his epitaph.
